CHEESEBURGER DELUXE QUICHE
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup onion, chopped, about 1 1/2 ounces
6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small green pepper, diced, about 2 1/2 ounces
Salt and pepper, to taste
Dash garlic powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup heavy cream
8 ounces Swiss or cheddar cheese, shredded

Brown the hamburger with the onion, mushrooms and green peppers; drain fat. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Beat the eggs in a small bowl; beat in the mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the cream; season with salt and pepper. Mix the meat and cheese in a greased 9-10" glass pie plate. Pour the custard mixture over the top. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes until done in the center.

Makes 6-8 servings
Can be frozen
