BACON MUSHROOM CHEESEBURGERS
4 quarter-pound hamburger patties, grilled
4 slices bacon
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, diced, 2 1/2 ounces
4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced

Sauté the bacon, mushrooms and onions in a large skillet until everything is slightly browned; drain the fat. Top the hamburger patties with the bacon mixture, then top each with a slice of cheese. Broil to melt the cheese.

Makes 4 servings
Can be frozen without the toppings

Per Serving: 469 Calories; 36g Fat; 30g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs

These are very good. Instead of cheddar, I topped mine with a slice of smoked Fontina cheese for an extra smoky flavor.
