ROASTED GREEN BEANS
1 1/2 pounds thin fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons oil or olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Heat the oven to 375. Toss all of theingredients in a bowl. Spread in a single layer on 2 sheet pans. Roast 20 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp-tender. Turn the beans over after 10 minutes to brown evenly.

Makes 4-5 servings
Can be frozen

This was an interesting new way to cook green beans. My husband liked them. I thought they were ok, but perhaps a little too browned. I might try them next time with a bit of minced garlic mixed in.
