I wanted to make my Tuna "Casserole" Quiche one day but didn't want to spend the money on fresh mushrooms. Instead I spent only half as much on a can of mushroom stems and pieces. I also had a lot of mayonnaise that needed to be used so I eliminated the heavy cream and used half a cup of mayo. It came out great and probably just as good as my original version.
