DOTTIE'S SLOPPY JOES
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 1/2 ounces onion, chopped, 1 small
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 teaspoons granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Brown the hamburger, onion and celery; drain off the fat. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes. Serve on Revolution Rolls, if desired.

Makes 8 servings
Can be frozen

Per Serving: 156 Calories; 10g Fat; 14g Protein; 3g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 2.5g Net Carbs

This tastes a lot like my non-lowcarb sloppy joe recipe, but much drier. There was almost no liquid, so I simmered it covered to keep it from getting too dry. It tasted ok on the Revolution Rolls, but they're too fragile to pick up filled with this.
