BACON GREEN BEANS
1/2 pound fresh green beans
2 slices bacon, chopped
4 ounce can mushrooms, drained
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper, to taste

Fry the bacon until almost crisp; drain off most of the grease. Meanwhile, boil or steam the green beans until tender-crisp. Drain well, then add the bacon, mushrooms and butter; heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 4-6 servings
Can be frozen

These have a nice flavor. Just be careful not to overcook the beans.
